Chocolate Cake Tasted by Elisabeth has been preserved for 118 years
A special cake is exhibited in an Italian town museum. The cake was tasted by Empress Sisi 118 years ago. Nearly all the cake is preserved since her Majesty consumed only one slice of it.

Chocolate Cake Tasted by Elisabeth has been preserved for 118 years
A special cake is exhibited in an Italian town museum. The cake was tasted by Empress Sisi 118 years ago. Nearly all the cake is preserved since her Majesty consumed only one slice of it.
The rest of the cake has been preserved for more than a hundred year by the innkeeper's family. In December this special cake was given to the Touriseum Tourist museum, Merano. The visitors can
have a look at the cake which is exhibited in a glass cabinet. However, nobody has the possibility to taste a cake like that since the recipe of it is unknown.
